The Thau Basin

In just a few minutes of walking, you will be on the first beaches of the Thau Lagoon. You can take many walks or bike rides, attend shellfish tastings in the Oyster farms, take the famous Saline paths > and many more. The Basin and the Lagune de Thau offer you breathtaking landscapes.

A little further from our establishment, you can reach the Lac du Salagou and the Canal du Midi with its famous locks.  

The city of Sete

In 10 minutes by car, you will be in Sète. You will be charmed by this bright city offering a superb opening on the Mediterranean. The city of Sète has inspired many artists, it is the city of Brassens and Paul Valéry, but it is also the filming location many films and series such as Coup d'Éclat, Lost Ball, Candice Renoir and Tomorrow belongs to us. During your visit to Sète, you should take a tour of Mont Saint-Clair, the Pierres Blanches Forest and the covered market. Sète comes alive during festive events, don’t miss the Sète jousts or "Stopover in Sète". 

The city of Montpellier

In 20 minutes by car, you will be at the entrance to the city of Montpellier. During your stopover in our hotel near the sea in Balaruc-les-Bains, discover Montpellier for a day. We advise you to go through some of its must-sees such as the Place de la Comédie, the historic center called the Coat of Arms, the Arc de Triomphe, the Promenade du Peyrou, the Jardin des Plantes, the Saint-Pierre Cathedral and many others. 

The hinterland

Our hotel near Sète in Balaruc les Bains is surrounded by many villages just waiting to be visited. We suggest you go to the village of Pézenas, the village of Molière and Boby Lapointe. Stroll through the maze of cobbled streets to immerse yourself in the heart of this exceptional and picturesque village. Do not miss to visit the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert with Gellone Abbey, the Lorimy House, Saint-Laurent Church, the Giant's Castle and the Devil's Bridge.
